Earthquake in Padang

I was caught in total surprise about the magnitude of the earthquake when I watch tv3 news last night and to see rescue operation around Universitas Andalas (UNAND). I was there once, and familiar with the place. Places around UNAND are famous for Rafflesia gadutensis, an endemics of the area. My actice contacts in the area is KCALH, headed by Qting, above.

I immediately sent out sms messages to him and just before midnight I received his reply saying that he is okay. I hope the entire people of UNAND are okay.
